I have produced a series of paintings on canvas and assorted driftwood that I leave in the public domain in areas where people can view them at times when they least expect to see a piece of art.

No real driving reason, just want people to see and think about the art and their reason for living.

The first initial concept was based around Why do so many people put up with lives they hate!!!!

The art is supposed to be disturbing but not about suicide more about driving out the old and replacing new driving ideas.

From the art comes a selection of little urban models. These are my blow your brains out protoyypes followed shortly by Screamers and satisfieds standing approx 8cm tall.

Culver Cliff end of Sandown looking back towards the town, the revetment makes a good jogging circuit.

Although I have now just bought a pair of Fly Jumpers, you know the advert where everyone is bouncing around the town (When your product goes global).

I have already fallen a couple of times but so far they were controlled drops !!!!

I hope to jog along soon.

The fossilized remains of a new dinosaur species has been found in the melting tundra of the high arctic.

The species has yet to be identified but fears are growing that it is the long lost link between homo erectus and terrorsaurus babeus.

On studying the oral area it has been deduced that babeus had an over active set of vocal cords.

This is confirmation that Babeus is a true ancestor of female erectus.!!!!!!!!!

Seranading T Rex!!! Did he have to woe the Fe-

Rex with a diddy that echoed over the Cretaceous landscape like a ripped out brain melody or did he just make musical instruments in his spare time to play at the local cave bars just to show his fellow dino's he was not just a mean old meaty eater.

Vegetables turned me green by Isle of wight artist Veronica Grimm

After a week of digesting only green vegetables I noticed my skin colouration changing, I am becoming a true negative carbon footprint freak.

My teeth have started to grind flat and I have noticed I ruminate a lot more and my two pert breasts are sagging with four more teats starting to materialize.

I ask. Is this normal?

Blow Their Brains Out designer Toy Prototype by Isle of Wight Artist Veronica Grimm

Designer toy prototype for a series of ten + two secret models based on the new gun culture sweeping the country, why should the hoody gangs have it all their own way.

Twelve designs based on every day non threatening behavioural people reclaiming their streets back.

Prototype: super sculpey, acrylic paint.

Size:approx 2.5inches tall.

Sratch built dinosaur sculpture by Isle of Wight Artist Veronica Grimm

Scratch built dinosaur sculpture modelled using stone (base) Super Sculpey a wire armature and some metal foil.

It took several days to actually complete and is based on a Luis Rey painting I have in my collection, the Velociraptor in the painting has been used numerous times by Usborne Books who have the copyright, thus I am unable to duplicate the actual painting and show you the accuracy of my sculpt which I feel is close.

The sculpt stands 10inches long.

Super Sculpey is quite expensive and my tip for sculpting is when you have made the armature bulk out a rough shape in scunched metal foil before commencing with the sculpey. Sculpey also has a habit of breaking at joints over time,this can be repaired with white glue and a bit of paint retouching.

From some beach debris, clay,acrylic paint and offcuts of coloured vinyl(skip).

Trying to produce prototype designer toys from recycled materials, saving the planet and reducing my carbon footprint!!!

Who's fooling who, I am just a tight wad and always loooking to produce artwork from items I find around me.

The storm beach of Sandown is just 3minutes from where I live a perfect place to scour for materials to recycle. ( I found 460 Kinder surprizes on one trip).

This series I have named Robots(I know not very imaginative), this run will be limited to the amount of fishing float things I can Find ( now I am looking they appear to have become very rare)!!!They are the basis for the robot theme being that type of head shape.

The coloured vinyl is harder to source and unless I am very lucky only a few will have this material as its base.

I have kept the paintjobs initially simple really to experiment on the coverage over the different materials,

Elvis Presley has been kept mainly in the dark as a shrunken little person by a lonely ex ballroom dancer, only on very rare occasions can he peek above his pocket home and stare lovingly into his owners eyes.

The ex ballroom dancers dreams of meeting someone her own size.

Remit was to do a painting that was a portrait, abstract,but in a kind of pop art style in pastel colours, this was my final completed picture on canvas's 10 inches x 14inches.

I do tend to enjoy the odd portrait, most are just get, the likeness right and finish.

On this remit I had more freedom to try out different techniques which I enjoyed.

The Isle of Wight underground reservoirs have now become home to the most lovable of rogues, what I cannot understand is how easy such a hostile intelligent foe can be destroyed over and over again by a BBC prop (the sonic Screwdriver) It must be possible for humans and Daleks to get along both species are overly aggressive and partial to gun crime.

Sandown Lifeboat Study By Isle of Wight Artist

On Sunday I took a quick sketch and painting of the Lifeboat being readied for a practice run.

There had been a short but intense downpour, I took the opportunity whilst everyone else had run for cover!!

I would say the picture took around 30 minutes using acrylic and marker pen on canvas 10 x 14 inches.

It did not take long for the sun to come out again and it stayed boiling for the rest of the day.

Sandown Lifeboat station is on the revetment not far from the pier.

Island beauties will parade down the main street on the second day of Cowes week, their aim to pull the richest male/female, the winner will get a wonderfull new life on the ocean wave.

This is a particularly hard competition as the truly wealthy are hard to spot between the crowds of wannabees.

Even the unfashionable undead now use high tech gadgetry as everyday useage.
The Blow your brains out necklace is a high resolution carporial carrier very similar to a human USB pen, hidden behind reams of data software the souls of the dead cannot be retreived by mortals.

Dead Teddy Scandal? Who killed my teddy Bear. As I hold him in my hands he stiffens into a deathly pose, now unable to speak he will never be able to tell me who did this dasterdly thing

I am distraught and need to know his killer.

I buried him in Bomb and Hollow, Sandown on the Isle of Wight yersterday morning, as the sun rose up over the white cliffs.

As wedding bells ring out over the Island this summer, just a thought should be set aside for all those poor men who are now entering upon their journeys into Hell.

All women by definition should be classified as Bipolar and marriages should come with a trades description guaranteeing males safe conduct ie no pouting, no mood swings an explanation of how to before going off on a strop etc etc.

14 x 10inches acrylic on canvas, the transformation from women to cat, more like a central american Inca leopard.

A mammalian throwback along the evolutioary lineage.

Cladistics would prove that the catty nature of our females is directly linked to our feline freinds but only a small percentage actually take on the persona of a cat.

This women came to me asking for help when I was travelling incognito through the rainforests of Belize.

The only advice I could give her was to follow her instincts but not to scratch herself in public.

I read in a creativity extra magazine some years ago.

Invest in yourself. How great a painter do you think you could be if you painted a still life, even a simple one, six out of seven days per week for one year? How skilled an artist could you become if you spent that time drawing a self portrait or creating abstract art.

I took this to heart and endeavoured to do just that,not just painting but sculpture and writings as well.

Two years 6 months of creating daily has now passed. It has become such a compelling part of my life I doubt I will ever stop now.

Have I become successful. To the outside world probably not, you will not see any of my work for sale in Galleries, but from a standing start I have got this far, I now want to know how good I will be in ten years.
