Late May early June the weather was fresh and clear on the beach but hot inland, the sea was breaking roughly up the top end of Sandown bay near the whitecliffs at Culver.At the end of each day in the studio (usually around 2pm). (I tend to be an early day person and do most of my creative work in the morning.)
I made my way to the top of the Cliffs at culver descended via a tretcherous vertical path to near the beach, hunkered down and did some loose seascapes, thickly painted in impasto style using quick drying acrylics.
The large canvas is 30inches x 40inches, driftwood from the beach finishes off the others.
