Tiger Triptych taken from an amalgamation of my Isle of Wight zoo sketches by Tony Trowbridge.

32x44x3inches hand ripped and stretched natural cotton on wooden frames.

I tried to accomplish this painting using a large brush with the minimum of brush stoke action.

I pieced together several tiger skeches that I made earlier in the year whilst down at Tiger Island, our local isle of wight zoo.

Not really pieced more like laid in front of me then I quicky slopped on the canvas with a large brush building up the general form of the tiger.
