Inspired by the urban Vinyl designer toy scene, graffiti, Lowbrow, popart and comic art, I spend my days painting, customizing toys, kit bashing, and sculpting. To supplement this lifestyle I have to mootch down to the beach in the worst storms to paint live studies of the sea,I live on the Isle of Wight and this is the only thing the locals will buy.

Seahorse's are now indigenous to the isle of wight by isle of wight artist veronica grimm
Seahorse's are now an indigenous species to the shores of the isle of wight, the local rag, the isle of wight press has scooped on this article many times with cute pictures of seahorse's braving the inhospitable elements of fresh air in the hands of a would be reporter, or blurred underwater snaps of a seahorse eyes wide with fear as the camera looms big in it's face.
Now that seahorse's are as common around these shores as coach loads of poor Bradford pensioners enjoying a poor quality cheapo mid week break is it any wonder I have spotted a dreadfull new predator to these delightfully rundown and rustic shores.
Carefull to keep my hands clear I pulled a Crikey it's a Calamari from the mire, a southern spain import now here hunting OUR seahorse's.
2foot tall sratchbuilt acrylic and spraypaint.

Grumbly Grimm label of authenticity query
A close up of the tag is above so that if anyone else is unsure of the authenticity of their grumbly grimm purchase's they all should carry this tag.
Not many grumbly grimms have been born so far so its great that at least one happy collector has an original.
The above grumbly grimm was the first one I ever made and sits in my fire place happy and contented.

Original painting zena the one eyed tiger at isle of wight zoo, tiger islands most famous tiger
Acrylic on canvas 24x36inches.
Today my fingers are about the only things working without any certainty of pain, yesterday we walked the isle of wight all 26.5 miles from Bembridge to Alum bay.
I suggest to anyone attempting this annual event that they do in fact train for it, we did not, still completed the event but now are suffering badly.
Still no tigers escapted to reek havock with the 9000+ walkers.
